The Second Catechism: Of Man's First Condition
Wherein besides, was man at first like to God?
Answer
Man was Lord and Ruler of all the world, and man was happy; man had no naughtiness nor misery (Genesis 1:26, 28; Psalm 65:4; Genesis 1:27, 31; Romans 5:12).
