A Catechism for Babes, or, Little Ones
How many Gods are there?
Answer
There is but one Jehovah, one God the Father, of whom are all things; and one Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and there is one Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit; and these are one (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:16-17, 26; Ephesians 4:4; 1 John 5:7).
